Bad Romance

23 Mar

To have a good friend and lose a good lover or to have a good lover land risk losing a good friend?
It all starts with and exploration of possibilities, what are the options? What is the worst that could ever happen? Apparently it was nothing, nothing to lose but a possibility of ending up with a huge dent for whoever got a fickle heart… No one was supposed to fall in love, our heads were supposed to keep it all together and not the heart. I mean the heart is stupid and tends to let emotions get in the way ey? Well the birds and the bees was great, mostly more than great awesome! Repeat performances should mean the first impression was good, or should they not? But then the head, the one with a nose and ears, focus! don’t derail just yet… The head started delegating its work the stupid heart. A previously simple agreement with no or minimal expectations started getting complicated. That horrible four letter word ‘love’ started popping up at every excuse and implied in every gesture. I say horrible because it has brought me more pain than Joy, but now is not the time to talk about that. This was not part of the agreement, i rarely make promises because I do feel obligated to keep them I had to either get everything back on track or bolt. Well apparently a set heart is stronger than a strong mind as I found out, the only option I was left with was bolt in a civil way. Next time I hear someone say listen to what your heart tells you I’ll slap them I’d rather remain with my head focus not the head you are thinking of, but rather the one with a nose and ears. I still am scared of this monster called love for the time being bad romancing it is…
Ps. I am sorry for not being consistent on this diary of mine. Do have a happy Easter πŸ™‚
